gottawearshades...Scott's watched the assholes in this town treat the new girl like shit for the last few hours and honestly, it's pissing him off. All that home town small town bullshit about treating everyone well, where people pride themselves for being decent and kind when all it means is they take care of their own...
Hell, his own 'parents', the foster folks who'd taken him on despite his terrible record were only doing it for themselves, because they'd wanted to be able to say that they'd taken in a kid to make up for the fact that his new 'dad' had been in the closest thing to a sex scandal this stupid little town had had in years. It was penance and he hated being penance. So yeah, he wasn't exactly close with them and to be fair, that served them just as well.
So yeah, it doesn't take him long to get frustrated and make his way over to her.
"So, everyone here eats at the diner and the diner is over on the next block if you want me to walk you over. Sorry everyone here's an asshole."
