Yuna or Namine would be great and Jamie actually adores kids and is very soft towards the young and someone who's trying to be more human would definitely be up his alley. Fantasy setting would work, or if Namine comes to Neverland, he docks there very often. He can 'dock' anywhere you name as you like. High school AU could be interesting for both of them I think, but I'm up for anything!
Jail wasn't really the place where anyone expected to find a new career - unless you were a warden-in-training. Doug Eiffel had never been, or wanted to be, a warden-in-training. He was, unfortunately, more of the inmate type. The last thing he'd thought would happen was an oddly-affable man who offered him a way to set right what he'd done wrong and, more importantly, the funds to help his daughter. All he had to do is what he'd been doing before, just for this place called Goddard Futuristics instead of the military or the company he'd been working for. "After all," Kepler had said, "you're good at what you do. One of the best, in fact. I wouldn't be here if you weren't. Seems to me that all you need is a chance, and maybe somebody to keep an eye on you while you do it."
As much as he'd wanted to protest, he couldn't. He'd been okay in the military. It'd been when he got out on his own that he started to spiral. So maybe Kepler was right. Maybe what he needed was that kind of structure that would make it easier to stick to the whole 'no drinking' thing - as if the memory of what he'd done wouldn't suffice.
Now there was just one problem. He was going to space. And space meant - "No cigarettes? Seriously? I... I might cry. Or die. Or... or something. Me, without nicotine? Does anybody really want to see that?"

I can start a high school AU where Namine is in the art club or something?
